A catch-all feature that is enabled for a particular email mailbox will permit you to receive emails that are sent to email addresses that do not actually exist. Otherwise stated, if you disable an email address and somebody still sends an email message to it, or to any miswritten address under the very same domain name, you’ll receive the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you won’t miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be crucial if you are running some business, for instance. Since you may begin receiving unsolicited messages, you can combine the catch-all option with anti-spam filters so as to receive only legitimate email messages in your inbox. Only one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all mailbox without difficulty if you’ve got a cloud hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager in our in-house built Hepsia Control Panel is feature-laden, yet extremely simple to use, and it will permit you to enable various features, including the catch-all one, with just a couple of clicks. All the mailboxes that you have will be listed alphabetically in this section and on the right side of each one you will notice a tiny "Catch-all" button. Clicking it once will activate this feature, clicking on it once again will disable it. Since you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain name, our system will warn you if you already have another mailbox with this feature activated or if you have enabled email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

The custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel that is included with each semi-dedicated server plan that we offer will permit you to configure a catch-all e-mailbox without any efforts even if you do not have much email/web hosting experience. All it takes to achieve that is to click on the catch-all icon, which will be on the right side of each email address that you have set up using your domains in the Email Manager section of the Control Panel. As you can have just one single mailbox with this feature per domain, our system will notify you if you’ve already configured a different catch-all mailbox or if the one that you wish to use has email forwarding activated. In case you decide that you do not want the feature any longer, you can disable it by clicking again on the same icon. The Email Manager will also allow you to see your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
