Whois Privacy Protection in Cloud Hosting
You can quickly enable Whois Privacy Protection for any domain name that you have registered with our company in case you’ve got a cloud hosting account with us. This can be done through the exact same Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you manage the hosting account itself, so you won’t need to switch between different admin panels. In the very same section where all your registered domain names will be listed, there will be an “Whois Privacy Protection” icon for each domain name whose extension supports this option. The status of each icon will quickly show you if the Whois Privacy Protection service is enabled for a particular domain name or not and by clicking on that icon you can activate the service in case you haven’t done so during the registration procedure. You will also be able to renew or to disable the Whois Privacy Protection service for any domain using the exact same icon and the change will take effect straight away.
Whois Privacy Protection in Semi-dedicated Servers
Enabling Whois Privacy Protection for any domain is exceptionally easy if you’ve got a semi-dedicated server. As long as the domain is registered with our company, it will be listed in the Registered Domains section of the Hepsia Control Panel that comes with each semi-dedicated server package. If a specific generic or country-specific domain name is Whois Privacy Protection-eligible, you will notice a mini logo on the right-hand side of that domain. To activate the service, you will need to click on it. In the same way, you can also renew or deactivate the service. You can enable Whois Privacy Protection for a domain during the account activation procedure too, but since the Whois Privacy Protection service is optional, we will offer you the opportunity to add it to any of your domains at a later time if you think things over and choose to hide your private details from the general public after you’ve already ordered the semi-dedicated account.
